SUST Gears Up For Convocation After 12 Years

Its first assembly was hung on April 29, 1998 and the second one on December 6, 2007. College sources said 6,750 understudies have enlisted for the following assembly. Five understudies will get the President's Gold Medal for praises result and 10 for MA results. Plus, 89 understudies, who stood first in their specializations, will get the bad habit chancellor grants. President Abdul Hamid, the chancellor of the college, will manage the conference while author Syed Manzoorul Islam will join as the meeting speaker. All arrangements are being required to hold the meeting feeling bubbly, SUST Vice-Chancellor Professor Farid Uddin Ahmed said. SUST, set up in 1986, began its scholarly exercises on February 13, 1991 with just three offices. In those days it had 13 instructors and 205 understudies, as per data accessible on the college site.
